Hyderabad: A City Civil Court has passed an interim injunction restraining Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president A Revanth Reddy or any other person representing him from making any derogatory, libellous or scandalous statements either by way of print or electronic media or in public or in private including Internet and social media linking IT Minister K T Rama Rao with the ongoing probe ino the drug racket.
The court passed the order while responding to a petition filed against Revanth Reddy stating that various slanderous, defamatory statements and allegations were made by Revanth Reddy against Rama Rao.
The court took into consideration the arguments and the documents filed before it and issued an interim injunction. The court has further issued a notice to Revanth Reddy and adjourned the case to October 20.
