Covid-19: 1421 new cases and six fatalities in Telangana
A total of 1,221 persons recovered on Thursday, taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,07,326 with a recovery rate of 90.53 per cent.
Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 1,421 new Covid-19 infections and six fatalities on Thursday, taking the overall toll to 1,298 and the cumulative number of positive cases so far to 2,29,001.
As on Thursday, there were 20,377 active Covid-19 cases in the State.
A total of 1,221 persons recovered on Thursday, taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,07,326 with a recovery rate of 90.53 per cent, while the countrywide recovery rate is 89.5 per cent.
Between Wednesday and Thursday, 38,484 Covid tests were conducted in the State while reports of another 877 samples are awaited. So far, a total of 40,17,353 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 2,29,001 have tested positive and 2, 07, 326 persons have recovered.
