Covid-19: 1481 new cases and four fatalities in TS on Tuesday

A total of 1,451 persons recovered on Tuesday, taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,14,917 with a recovery rate of 91.78 per cent, while the countrywide recovery rate is 90.70 per cent.

Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 1,481 new Covid-19 infections and four fatalities on Tuesday, taking the overall toll to 1,319 and the cumulative number of positive cases so far to 2,34,152.

As on Tuesday, there were 17,916 active Covid-19 cases in the State.

Between Monday and Tuesday, 40,081 Covid tests were conducted in the State while reports of another 664 samples are awaited. So far, a total of 41,55,597 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 2,34,152 have tested positive and 2,14,917 persons have recovered.
