Covid-19: 1504 new cases and 5 fatalities in TS on Wednesday
So far, a total of 41,96,958 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 2,35,656 have tested positive and 2,16,353 persons have recovered.
Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 1,504 new Covid-19 infections and five fatalities on Wednesday, taking the overall toll to 1,324 and the cumulative number of positive cases so far to 2,35,656. As on Wednesday, there were 17,979 active Covid-19 cases in the State.
A total of 1,436 persons recovered on Wednesday, taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,16,353 with a recovery rate of 91.80 per cent, while the countrywide recovery rate is 90.90 per cent.
Between Tuesday and Wednesday, 41,962 Covid tests were conducted in the State while reports of another 1,049 samples were awaited. So far, a total of 41,96,958 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 2,35,656 have tested positive and 2,16,353 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts include 15 from Adilabad, 83 from Bhadradri, 288 from areas under GHMC, 36 from Jagtiyal, 17 from Jangaon, 11 from Bhupalpally, 16 from Gadwal, 41 from Kamareddy, 66 from Karimnagar, 84 from Khammam, three from Asifabad, 24 from Mahabubnagar, 14 from Mahabubabad, 23 from Mancherial, 21 from Medak, 118 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 15 from Mulugu, 24 from Nagarkurnool, 93 from Nalgonda, two from Narayanpet, 14 from Nirmal, 39 from Nizamabad , 24 from Peddapally, 45 from Siricilla, 115 from Rangareddy, 28 from Sangareddy, 73 from Siddipet, 41 from Suryapet, 15 from Vikarabad, 23 from Wanaparthy, 21 from Warangal Rural, 44 from Warangal Urban and 28 positive cases from Yadadri Bhongir.
