Covid-19: 1717 cases and five fatalities in TS on Saturday

So far, a total of 35,47,051 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 2,12, 063 have tested positive and 1,85,128 persons have recovered.

Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 1, 717 new Covid-19 infections and five fatalities on Saturday, taking the overall toll to 1222 and the cumulative number of positive cases so far to 2, 12,063.

As on Saturday, there were 25, 713 active Covid-19 cases in State.

A total of 2,103 persons have recovered by Saturday, taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 1,85,128 with a recovery rate of 87.29 percent, while the countrywide recovery rate is 85.9 percent.

Between Friday and Saturday, 46, 657 Covid tests were conducted in the State while reports of another 1,093 samples are awaited. So far, a total of 35,47,051 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 2,12, 063 have tested positive and 1,85,128 persons have recovered.

The Covid-19 positive cases reported from all the districts include 21 from Adilabad, 87 from Bhadradri, 276 from areas under GHMC, 22 from Jagtiyal, 21 from Jangaon, 15 from Bhupalpally, 16 from Gadwal, 34 from Kamareddy, 104 from Karimnagar, 82 from Khammam, 14 from Komarambheem Asifabad, 49 from Mahabubnagar, 32 from Mahabubabad, 21 each from Mancherial, 23 from Medak, 131 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 19 from Mulugu, 26 from Nagarkurnool, 101 from Nalgonda, 20 from Narayanpet, 19 from Nirmal, 53 from Nizamabad, 28 from Peddapally, 22 from Siricilla, 132 from Rangareddy, 59 from Sangareddy, 85 each from Siddipet, 57 from Suryapet, 18 from Vikarabad, 21 from Wanaparthy, 23 from Warangal Rural, 59 from Warangal Urban and 27 positive cases from Yadadri Bhongir.
