Covid-19: 1891 new cases and 7 fatalities in Telangana

As on Thursday, there were 26,374 active Covid-19 cases in Telangana State. A total of 1, 878 persons have recovered on Thursday, taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 1,80,953

Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 1, 891 new Covid-19 infections and seven fatalities on Thursday, taking the overall toll to 1208 and the cumulative number of positive cases so far to 2,08,535.

As on Thursday, there were 26,374 active Covid-19 cases in Telangana State.
A total of 1, 878 persons have recovered on Thursday, taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 1,80,953 with a recovery rate of 86.77 per cent, while the countrywide recovery rate is 85.5 per cent.

Between Wednesday and Thursday, 53,086 Covid tests were conducted in the State while reports of another 915 samples are awaited. So far, a total of 34,49,925 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 2,08,535 have tested positive and 1,80,953 persons have recovered.

The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts include 32 from Adilabad, 65 from Bhadradri, 285 from areas under GHMC, 37 from Jagtiyal, 25 from Jangaon, 18 from Bhupalpally, 24 from Gadwal, 41 from Kamareddy, 97 from Karimnagar, 72 from Khammam, 10 from Komarambheem Asifabad, 31 from Mahabubnagar, 40 from Mahabubabad, 23 from Mancherial, 29 from Medak, 195 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 31 from Mulugu, 24 from Nagarkurnool, 128 from Nalgonda, 13 from Narayanpet, 22 from Nirmal, 46 from Nizamabad, 36 from Peddapally, 42 from Siricilla, 175 from Rangareddy, 47 from Sangareddy, 64 each from Siddipet, 39 from Suryapet, 23 from Vikarabad, 37 from Wanaparthy, 26 from Warangal Rural, 76 from Warangal Urban and 38 positive cases from Yadadri Bhongir.
