Hyderabad: Telangana has recorded 214 new Covid-19 infections and two fatalities on Thursday taking the tally of cases to 2,92,835 and deaths to 1,586. As on Thursday, the State had 3,781 active cases.

Also, 351 persons were cured of Covid on Thursday, taking the cumulative recoveries to 2,87,468 with a recovery rate of 98 per cent, against the country’s 96.6 per cent.


Between Wednesday and Thursday, 28,791 tests were conducted while reports of another 632 samples were awaited. Till Thursday, 76,02,975 tests were conducted.

The cases reported from the districts included five from Adilabad, seven Bhadradri, 38 from the Greater Hyderabad, eight from Jagitiyal, four each from Jangaon and Bhupalpally, 14 from Karimnagar, six from Khammam, five from Asifabad, four each from Mahabubnagar and Mahabubabad, seven from Mancherial, four from Medak, 14 from Medchal Malkajgiri, three from Mulugu, eight from Nalgonda, one from Narayanpet, five from Nirmal, six from Nizamabad, seven from Peddapalli, five from Sircilla, 14 from Ranga Reddy, eight from Sangareddy, seven from Siddipet, four from Suryapet, seven from Vikarabad, three from Warangal Rural, eight from Warangal Urban and four from Yadadri.
