Covid-19: 509 new Covid-19 infections and three fatalities
A total of 517 persons recovered on Wednesday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,70,967 with a recovery rate of 96.89 per cent.
Hyderabad: Telangana has recorded 509 new Covid-19 infections and three fatalities on Wednesday taking the overall toll to 1,505 and the cumulative number of positive cases so far to 2,79,644. As on Wednesday, there were 7,172 active Covid-19 cases in the State.
A total of 517 persons recovered on Wednesday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,70,967 with a recovery rate of 96.89 per cent, while the countrywide recovery rate was 95.3 per cent.
Between Tuesday and Wednesday, 48,652 Covid-19 tests were conducted in the State while reports of another 717 samples were awaited. So far, a total of 63,06,397 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 2,79,644 have tested positive and 2,70,967 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included six from Adilabad, 14 from Bhadradri, 104 from areas under GHMC, 13 from Jagtiyal, five from Jangaon, six from Bhupalpally, two from Gadwal, four from Kamareddy, 15 from Karimnagar, 25 from Khammam, six from Asifabad, 10 from Mahabubnagar, 11 from Mahabubabad, 12 from Mancherial, six from Medak, 45 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 10 from Mulugu, 11 from Nagarkurnool, 13 from Nalgonda, two from Narayanpet, five from Nirmal, 11 from Nizamabad, 13 from Pedapalli, 10 from Siricilla, 42 from Rangareddy, 18 from Sangareddy, 19 from Siddipet, 15 from Suryapet, five from Vikarabad, seven from Wanaparthy, eight from Warangal Rural, 27 from Warangal Urban, nine from Yadadri.
