Covid-19: 6,361 cases, 51 deaths in Telangana on Tuesday
So far, a total of 1,32,67,252 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State.
Hyderabad: There were 6,361 new Covid-19 infections and 51 fatalities in Telangana on Tuesday, pushing the cumulative number of deaths to 2,527 and the total number of positive cases to 4,69,722. The number of active cases in the State is now 77,704.
Between Monday and Tuesday, authorities conducted 77,435 Covid rapid tests of which test results of 3,882 samples are awaited. On Monday, 8126 individuals have recovered with the recovery rate being 82.91 percent.

The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included 82 from Adilabad, 98 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 1225 from areas under the GHMC, 178 from Jagityal, 51 from Jangaon, 75 from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, 87 from Jogulamba Gadwal, 107 from Kamareddy, 248 from Karimnagar, 188 from Khammam, 57 from Asifabad, 224 from Mahabubnagar, 107 from Mahabubabad, 148 from Mancherial, 78 from Medak, 422 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 35 from Mulugu, 190 from Nagarkurnool, 453 from Nalgonda, 34 from Narayanpet, 35 from Nirmal, 164 from Nizamabad, 100 from Peddapalli, 89 from Rajanna Sircilla, 423 from Rangareddy, 227 from Sangareddy, 244 from Siddipet, 239 from Suryapet, 148 from Vikarabad, 110 from Wanaparthy, 99 from Warangal Rural, 234 from Warangal Urban and 162 from Yadadri-Bhongir.
