COVID-19: 7994 cases and 58 fatalities in Telangana on Wednesday
The number of active cases in Telangana has reached 76,060. Between Tuesday and Wednesday, authorities conducted 80,181 Covid tests of which test results 4,725 samples are awaited.
Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 7994 new Covid cases and 58 fatalities on Wednesday, pushing the cumulative number of deaths to 2208 and total number of positive cases so far to 4,27,960.
The number of active cases in Telangana has reached 76,060. Between Tuesday and Wednesday, authorities conducted 80,181 Covid tests of which test results 4,725 samples are awaited.
On Wednesday, 4009 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 81.71 per cent. So far, a total of 1,28,28,763 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 4,27,960 have tested positive and 3,49,692 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included 133 from Adilabad, 131 from Bhadradri, 1630 from areas under GHMC, 238 from Jagtiyal, 67 from Jangaon, 52 from Bhupalpally, 62 Gadwal, 174 from Kamareddy, 197 from Karimnagar, 213 from Khammam, 83 from Asifabad, 263 from Mahabubnagar, 78 from Mahabubabad, 201 from Mancherial, 117 from Medak, 615 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 47 from Mulugu, 206 from Nagarkurnool, 424 from Nalgonda, 56 from Narayanpet, 152 from Nirmal, 301 from Nizamabad, 112 from Peddapalli, 144 from Siricilla, 558 from Rangareddy, 337 from Sangareddy, 269 from Siddipet, 264 from Suryapet, 207 from Vikarabad, 174 from Wanaparthy, 163 from Warangal Rural, 162 from Warangal Urban and 164 from Bhongir.
