Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh government has accorded permission to Anandaiah to continue his herbal treatment for Covid patients.
The government said there was no objection to the use of three varieties of the herbal concoctions to be administered to the patients. However, it withheld permission for the treatment through eye-drops, as the report on it was expected only after a couple of weeks.
Anandaiah was in the news for successfully treating coronavirus disease patients at his village Krishnapatnam in Nellore district which attracted patients far and wide.
The use of the herbal concoction to treat coronavirus patients has led to a heated debate on social media platforms with some denigrating the treatment while others supporting it.
