Covid-19: Telangana records 148 new cases, one death on Wednesday
Between Monday and Tuesday, 24, 695 Covid tests were conducted in the State while reports of another 459 samples were awaited

Hyderabad: Telangana has recorded 148 new Covid-19 infections with one fatality on Tuesday, taking the cumulative number fatalities to 1,620 while the total number of positive cases is 2, 96,950. As on Tuesday, there were 1, 640 active Covid-19 cases in the State. A total of 150 persons recovered on Tuesday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2, 93, 690 with a recovery rate of 98.90 percent, while the countrywide recovery rate was 97.3 percent.
Between Monday and Tuesday, 24, 695 Covid tests were conducted in the State while reports of another 459 samples were awaited. So far, a total of 83, 60, 950 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 2, 96, 950 have tested positive and 2, 93, 690 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included seven from Adilabad, five from Bhadradri, 26 from areas under GHMC, five from Jagtiyal, four from Jangaon, two each from Bhupalpally and Kamareddy, 10 from Karimnagar, four from Khammam, three from Mahabubnagar, one from Mahabubabad, seven from Mancherial, one from Medak, 11 from Medchal Malkajgiri, one from Mulugu, five from Nalgonda, six from Nizamabad, three from Peddapalli, one from Siricilla, 10 from Rangareddy, eight from Sangareddy, four from Siddipet, five from Suryapet, four from Vikarabad, one from Wanaparthy, three from Warangal Rural, eight from Warangal Urban and one from Bhongir.
