Covid-19: Telangana records 1,489 new cases, 11 deaths on Wednesday

Between Tuesday and Wednesday, authorities conducted 1,16,252 Covid rapid tests of which test results of 1293 samples are awaited

Hyderabad: Telangana has reported 1489 new Covid infections and 11 fatalities on Wednesday pushing the cumulative number of deaths to 3521 and the total number of positive cases to 6,07,925. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Wednesday evening, is 19,975.

Between Tuesday and Wednesday, authorities conducted 1,16,252 Covid rapid tests of which test results of 1293 samples are awaited. On Wednesday, 1436 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 96.13 percent. So far, a total of 1, 70, 70, 886 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 6, 07, 925 have tested positive and 5, 84, 429 persons have recovered.

The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included four cases from Adilabad, 98 from Bhadradri, 175 from areas under GHMC, 19 from Jagtiyal, 14 from Jangaon, 25 from Bhupalpally, 16 from Gadwal, seven from Kamareddy, 84 from Karimnagar, 118 from Khammam, seven from Asifabad, 34 from Mahabubnagar, 53 from Mahabubabad, 47 from Mancherial, 12 from Medak, 66 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 35 from Mulugu, 23 from Nagarkurnool, 131 from Nalgonda, 12 from Narayanpet, two from Nirmal, 13 from Nizamabad, 68 from Peddapalli, 28 from Sircilla, 91 from Rangareddy, 26 from Sangareddy, 40 from Siddipet, 82 from Suryapet, 23 from Vikarabad, 28 from Wanaparthy, 25 from Warangal Rural, 49 from Warangal Urban and 34 from Bhongir.
