Covid-19: Telangana records 661 new cases, three deaths on Saturday
A total of 1,637 persons recovered on Saturday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,40,545 with a recovery rate of 93.46 per cent

Hyderabad: Telangana has recorded 661 new Covid-19 infections and three fatalities on Saturday taking the overall toll to 1,404 and the cumulative number of positive cases so far to 2,57,374. As on Saturday, there were 15,425 active Covid-19 cases in the State.
A total of 1,637 persons recovered on Saturday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,40,545 with a recovery rate of 93.46 per cent, while the countrywide recovery rate is 93.10 per cent.
Between Friday and Saturday, 21,264 Covid tests were conducted in the State while reports of another 457 samples were awaited. So far, a total of 48,74,433 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 2,57,374 have tested positive and 2,40,545 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts include 10 from Adilabad, 29 from Bhadradri, 167 from areas under GHMC, 15 from Jagtiyal, four from Jangaon, 10 from Bhupalpally, eight from Gadwal, three from Kamareddy, 24 from Karimnagar, 19 from Khammam, two from Asifabad, 11 from Mahabubnagar, 22 from Mahabubabad, 17 from Mancherial, seven from Medak, 45 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 12 from Mulugu, 22 from Nagarkurnool, 34 from Nalgonda, four from Nirmal, 15 from Nizamabad, six from Pedapalli, two from Siricilla, 57 from Rangareddy, 28 from Sangareddy, 23 from Siddipet, 14 from Suryapet, seven from Vikarabad, nine from Wanaparthy, 12 from Warangal Rural, 21 from Warangal Urban and two positive cases from Yadadri Bhongir.
