Covid-19: Telangana registers 2,493 new cases, 15 fatalities on Tuesday
Between Monday and Tuesday, authorities conducted 94,189 Covid tests of which results of 1,462 samples are awaited
Hyderabad: Telangana has reported 2493 new Covid infections and 15 fatalities on Tuesday pushing the cumulative number of deaths to 3,296 and the total number of positive cases to 5,80,844.The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Tuesday evening, stood at 33,254.
Between Monday and Tuesday, authorities conducted 94,189 Covid tests of which results of 1,462 samples are awaited. On Tuesday, 3308 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 93.70 per cent. So far, a total of 1,52,70,348 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 5,80,844 have tested positive and 5,44,294 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included 12 cases from Adilabad, 115 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 318 from areas under GHMC, 48 from Jagtiyal, 34 from Jangaon, 63 from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, 41 from Jogulamba Gadwal, 15 from Kamareddy, 129 from Karimnagar, 121 from Khammam, 14 from Komaram Bheem Asifabad, 88 from Mahabubnagar, 105 from Mahabubabad, 88 from Mancherial, 29 from Medak, 137 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 54 from Mulugu, 52 from Nagarkurnool, 165 from Nalgonda, 21 from Narayanpet, 14 from Nirmal, 18 from Nizamabad, 96 from Peddapalli, 53 from Rajanna Siricilla, 152 from Rangareddy, 66 from Sangareddy, 68 from Siddipet, 73 from Suryapet, 61 each from Vikarabad and Wanaparthy, 58 from Warangal Rural, 91 from Warangal Urban and 33 from Yadadri Bhongir.
