Hyderabad: Telangana reported 161 new Covid infections and one fatality on Monday taking the cumulative number of deaths to 3,967 and the total number of positive cases to 6, 72, 650. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Monday, was 3, 750.
The authorities today conducted 37, 844 Covid tests of which results of 978 samples were awaited. A total of 174 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 98. 85 per cent on Monday.
So far, a total of 2, 78, 35, 158 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 6, 72, 650 have tested positive and 6, 64, 933 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included one from Adilabad, four from Bhadradri Kothagudem,
50 from areas under GHMC, five from Jagtial, two from Kamareddy, eight from Karimnagar, four from Khammam, one from Komarambheem Asifabad, three from Mahabubnagar, four from Mahabubabad, three each from Mancherial and Medak, 12 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, six from Nalgonda, four from Nizamabad, seven from Peddapalli, six from Rajanna Siricilla, nine from Rangareddy, three from Sangareddy, six from Siddipet, five form Suryapet, three from Warangal Rural, nine from Warangal Urban and three from Yadadri Bhongir.
