Covid-19 update: 1,432 new cases, eight deaths in Telangana
A total of 1, 949 persons have recovered on Wednesday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 1,93,218 with a recovery rate of 88.76 per cent.

Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 1,432 new Covid-19 infections and eight fatalities on Wednesday, taking the overall toll to 1,249 and the cumulative number of positive cases so far to 2,17,670. As on Wednesday, there were 23,203 active Covid-19 cases in the State.
A total of 1, 949 persons have recovered on Wednesday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 1,93,218 with a recovery rate of 88.76 per cent, while the countrywide recovery rate is 87.3 per cent.
Between Tuesday and Wednesday, 38,895 Covid tests were conducted in the State while reports of another 884 samples are awaited. So far, a total of 37,03,047 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 2,17,670 have tested positive and 1,93,218 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included 25 from Adilabad, 99 from Bhadradri, 244 from areas under GHMC, 28 from Jagtiyal, 19 from Jangaon, 18 from Bhupalpally, 11 from Gadwal, 22 from Kamareddy, 74 from Karimnagar, 91 from Khammam, eight from Asifabad, 21 from Mahabubnagar, 41 from Mahabubabad, 25 each from Mancherial and Medak, 115 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 22 from Mulugu, 13 from Nagarkurnool, 74 from Nalgonda, four from Narayanpet, 22 from Nirmal, 27 from Nizamabad, 32 from Peddapally, 24 from Siricilla, 88 from Rangareddy, 28 from Sangareddy, 31 from Siddipet, 53 from Suryapet, 15 from Vikarabad, 28 from Wanaparthy, 34 from Warangal Rural, 46 from Warangal Urban and 25 positive cases from Yadadri Bhongir.
