COVID-19 update: 1,708 new cases, five deaths in Telangana
A total of 2,009 persons have recovered on Monday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 1,89,351 with a recovery rate of 88.15 per cent.
Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 1,708 new Covid-19 infections and five fatalities on Monday taking the overall toll to 1233 and the cumulative number of positive cases so far to 2,14,792. As on Monday, there were 24,208 active Covid-19 cases in the State.
A total of 2,009 persons have recovered on Monday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 1,89,351 with a recovery rate of 88.15 per cent, while the countrywide recovery rate was 86.8 per cent.
Between Saturday and Sunday, 46,835 Covid tests were conducted in the State while reports of another 1,034 samples are awaited. So far, a total of 36,24,096 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State.
