COVID-19 update: 582 new cases, four deaths in Telangana on Sunday
A total of 1,432 persons recovered on Sunday, taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,11,912 with a recovery rate of 91.40 percent.
Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 582 new Covid-19 infections and four fatalities on Sunday, taking the overall toll to 1307 and the cumulative number of positive cases so far to 2,31,834.
As on Sunday, there were 18,611 active Covid-19 cases in the State. A total of 1,432 persons recovered on Sunday, taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,11,912 with a recovery rate of 91.40 percent, while the countrywide recovery rate is 90.20 percent.
Between Satursay and Sunday, 14,729 Covid tests were conducted in the State while reports of another 720 samples are awaited. So far, a total of 40,94,417 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 2,31,834 have tested positive and 2,11,912 persons have recovered.
