Nizamabad: Telangana government decided to convert 100-bed Armoor area hospital into 300-bed Covid care hospital to provide better treatment to the Covid patients. Armoor MLA Jeevan Reddy sent a proposal regarding the same to the government, to upgrade the hospital on Saturday.

Armoor MLA Jeevan Reddy discussed the matter with Health Minister Etela Rajender, Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar, Health Secretary Syed Ali Rizvi and Housing Minister Prashanth Reddy on Saturday.

According to the request by MLA Jeevan Reddy, Health Minister Eetela Rajender give his nod to upgrade Armoor Area Hospital from 100 to 300- bed Covid hospital by increasing additional 200 beds in the hospital.

MLA Jeevan Reddy said that Telangana government will issue a G.O regarding this within three days which will helpful to Covid-19 patients.
