Covid survey: 530 villages covered in Nizamabad, 954 found Covid positive
Nizamabad Collector Narayana Reddy informed that 1,204 teams were conducting the survey in the district and out of 530 villages, the survey was completed in 307 gram panchayats.
Nizamabad: Household survey to identify Covid positive persons has so far covered 68,449 houses in 530 villages and four municipalities in Nizamabad district and 954 persons were identified as Covid positive patients in the district.
Nizamabad Collector Narayana Reddy informed that 1,204 teams were conducting the survey in the district and out of 530 villages, the survey was completed in 307 gram panchayats.
In Nizamabad district, Covid outpatient services were being offered in primary health centres and urban primary health centres. These facilities have so far treated 1,276 patients, among them 346 had Covid symptoms.
The Collector said that the household survey and outpatient services would continue on Tuesday too and people should utilise these services and obtain treatment. He also asked the people to spread the word as it would control the spread of the virus.
