Covid Update: 189 cases, two deaths in Telangana
Hyderabad: Telangana reported 189 new Covid infections and two fatalities on Thursday taking the cumulative number of deaths to 3,995 and the total number of positive cases so far to 6,76,376. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Thursday, was 3,680.
The authorities on Thursday conducted 36,883 Covid tests of which results of 1,682 samples were awaited. A total of 137 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 98.86 per cent on Thursday.
So far, a total of 2,86,59,827 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 6,76,376 have tested positive and 6,68,701 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included two from Adilabad, 10 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 77 from areas under GHMC, seven from Jagityal, three from Jangaon, one from Kamareddy, 10 from Karimnagar, four from Khammam, three from Mahabubabad, one from Mancherial, two from Medak, four from Medchal-Malkajgiri, one from Mulugu, two each from Nagarkurnool and Nalgonda, one from Narayanpet, two from Nirmal, four from Peddapalli, two from Rajanna Siricilla, 12 from Rangareddy, eight from Sangareddy, five from Siddipet, six from Suryapet, one from Vikarabad, four from Wanaparthy, three from Warangal Rural, 10 from Warangal Urban and two from Yadadri Bhongir.
