Covid Update: Telangana sees 948 new cases, four deaths
A total of 1, 896 persons have recovered by Sunday, taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2, 00, 686 with a recovery rate of 89.96 percent

Hyderabad: Telangana has recorded 948 new Covid-19 infections and four fatalities on Sunday, taking the overall toll to 1,275 and the cumulative number of positive cases so far to 2,23,059.
As on Sunday, there were 21, 098 active Covid-19 cases in Telangana State. A total of 1, 896 persons have recovered by Sunday, taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2, 00, 686 with a recovery rate of 89.96 percent, while the countrywide recovery rate is 88.2 percent.
Between Saturday and Sunday, 26,027 Covid tests were conducted in the State while reports of another 1, 050 samples are awaited. So far, a total of 38, 56, 530 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 2, 23, 059 have tested positive and 2, 00, 686 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from all the districts include nine from Adilabad, 56 from Bhadradri, 212 from areas under GHMC, 22 from Jagtiyal, 11 from Jangaon, seven from Bhupalpally, nine from Gadwal, four from Kamareddy, 63 from Karimnagar, 25 from Khammam, 11 from Mahabubnagar, 15 from Mahabubabad, nine from Mancherial, six from Medak, 65 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 14 from Mulugu, 11 from Nagarkurnool, 35 from Nalgonda, two from Narayanpet, five from Nirmal, 29 from Nizamabad , 14 from Peddapally, nine from Siricilla, 98 from Rangareddy, 42 from Sangareddy, 54 from Siddipet, 28 from Suryapet, five from Vikarabad, 11 each from Wanaparthy and Warangal Rural, 46 from Warangal Urban and 10 positive cases from Yadadri Bhongir.
