Covid19: Telangana records 245 new cases, one death on Sunday
On Sunday, authorities conducted 50,126 Covid tests of which results of 639 samples were awaited
Hyderabad: Telangana reported 245 new Covid infections and one fatality on Sunday taking the cumulative number of deaths to 3,842 and the total number of positive cases to 6,52,380. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Sunday stood at 7,268.
On Sunday, authorities conducted 50,126 Covid tests of which results of 639 samples were awaited. A total of 582 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 98.29 per cent. So far, a total of 2,33,94,678 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 6,52,380 have tested positive and 6,41,270 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included two from Adilabad, four from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 52 from areas under GHMC, seven from Jagtiyal, three from Jangaon, four from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, two from Jogulamba Gadwal, 30 from Karimnagar, seven from Khammam, one from Komaram Bheem Asifabad, five from Mahabubnagar, four from Mahabubabad, nine from Mancherial, one from Medak, 10 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, four from Mulugu, 17 from Nalgonda, one each from Narayanpet and Nirmal, five from Nizamabad, 10 from Peddapalli, four from Rajanna Siricilla, 16 from Rangareddy, one from Sangareddy, five from Siddipet, eight from Suryapet, two from Vikarabad, one from Wanaparthy, 14 from Warangal Rural and 15 from Warangal Urban.
