Covid19: Telangana records 482 new cases, two deaths on Wednesday
On Wednesday, authorities conducted 88,164 Covid tests of which results of 1,417 samples were awaited
Hyderabad: Telangana reported 482 new Covid infections and two fatalities on Wednesday taking the cumulative number of deaths to 3,833 and the total number of positive cases to 6,50,835. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Wednesday, was 8,137.
On Wednesday, authorities conducted 88,164 Covid tests of which results of 1,417 samples were awaited. A total of 455 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 98.16 per cent on Wednesday. So far, a total of 2,30,80,013 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 6,50,835 have tested positive and 6,38,865 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included six from Adilabad, 10 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 82 from areas under GHMC, 19 from Jagtiyal, eight from Jangaon, five from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, one from Jogulamba Gadwal, two from Kamareddy, 61 from Karimnagar, 26 from Khammam, three from Komarambheem Asifabad, five from Mahabubnagar, seven from Mahabubabad, 13 from Mancherial, one from Medak, 23 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, six from Mulugu, 35 from Nalgonda, three from Narayanpet, five form Nirmal, six from Nizamabad, 23 from Peddapalli, 13 from Rajanna Siricilla, 25 from Rangareddy, six from Sangareddy, 11 from Siddipet, 17 from Suryapet, one from Vikarabad, four from Wanaparthy, five from Warangal Rural, 41 from Warangal Urban and nine from Yadadri Bhongir.
