Covid19: Telangana records 577 new cases, two deaths on Friday
On Friday, authorities conducted 1,11,226 Covid tests of which results of 1,262 samples were awaited
Hyderabad: Telangana reported 577 new Covid infections and two fatalities on Friday taking the cumulative number of deaths to 3,819 and the total number of positive cases to 6,48,388. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Friday, was 8,674.
On Friday, authorities conducted 1,11,226 Covid tests of which results of 1,262 samples were awaited. A total of 645 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 98 per cent on Friday. So far, a total of 2,26,37,722 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 6,48,388 have tested positive and 6,35,895 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included four from Adilabad, 20 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 79 from areas under GHMC, 19 from Jagtiyal, nine from Jangaon, four from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, one each from Jogulamba Gadwal and Kamareddy, 66 from Karimnagar, 42 from Khammam, two from Komarambheem Asifabad, six from Mahabubnagar, 12 from Mahabubabad, 15 from Mancherial, four from Medak, 30 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, eight from Mulugu, three from Nagarkurnool, 36 from Nalgonda, two from Narayanpet, one from Nirmal, seven from Nizamabad, 34 from Peddapalli, 14 from Rajanna Siricilla, 25 from Rangareddy, seven from Sangareddy, 19 from Siddipet, 21 from Suryapet, four from Vikarabad, two from Wanaparthy, 25 from Warangal Rural, 38 from Warangal Urban and 17 from Yadadri Bhongir.
