Covid19: Telangana records 609 new cases, four deaths on Tuesday
On Tuesday, authorities conducted 1,08,921 Covid tests of which results of 1,541 samples were awaited
Hyderabad: Telangana reported 609 new Covid infections and four fatalities on Tuesday taking the cumulative number of deaths to 3,811 and the total number of positive cases to 6,46,606. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Tuesday, was 8,777.
On Tuesday, authorities conducted 1,08,921 Covid tests of which results of 1,541 samples were awaited. A total of 647 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 98 per cent on Tuesday. So far, a total of 2,23,06,371 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 6,46,606 have tested positive and 6,34,018 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included one from Adilabad,19 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 81 from areas under GHMC, 25 from Jagtiyal, eight from Jangaon, four from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, three from Kamareddy, 67 from Karimnagar, 51 from Khammam, four each from Komarambheem Asifabad, Mulugu, Nizamabad, Narayanpet and Nagarkurnool, six from Mahabubnagar, 10 from Mahabubabad, 14 from Mancherial, five from Medak, 36 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 48 from Nalgonda, three from Nirmal, 39 from Peddapalli, 28 from Rajanna Siricilla, 36 from Rangareddy, seven from Sangareddy, 11 from Siddipet, 17 from Suryapet, five from Vikarabad, two from Wanaparthy, seven from Warangal Rural, 41 from Warangal Urban and 15 from Yadadri Bhongir.
