Covid19: Telangana records 858 new cases, nine deaths on Friday
Between Thursday and Friday, authorities conducted 1,08,617 rapid tests of which test results of 996 samples were awaited
Hyderabad: Telangana reported 858 new Covid infections and nine fatalities on Friday taking the cumulative number of deaths to 3,678 and the total number of positive cases to 6,25,237. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Friday was 12,726.
Between Thursday and Friday, authorities conducted 1,08,617 rapid tests of which test results of 996 samples were awaited. On Friday, 1,175 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 97.37 per cent. So far, a total of 1.88 crore tests have been conducted in the State of which 6,25,237 have tested positive and 6,08,833 persons recovered.
Covid positive cases reported from the districts include two from Adilabad, 30 from Bhadradri, 107 from areas under GHMC, 18 from Jagtiyal, nine from Jangaon, 16 from Bhupalpally, five from Gadwal, three from Kamareddy, 51 from Karimnagar, 81 from Khammam, four from Asifabad, 18 from Mahabubnagar, 40 from Mahabubabad, 41 from Mancherial, seven from Medak, 39 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 18 from Mulugu, 12 from Nagarkurnool, 64 from Nalgonda, four from Narayanpet, two from Nirmal, six from Nizamabad, 36 from Peddapalli, 22 from Siricilla, 51 from Rangareddy, 12 from Sangareddy, 23 from Siddipet, 52 from Suryapet, 10 from Vikarabad, seven from Wanaparthy, 14 from Warangal Rural, 39 from Warangal Urban and 15 from Bhongir.
