Covid19: Telangana records 917 new cases, 10 deaths on Wednesday

Hyderabad: Telangana has reported 917 new Covid infections and ten fatalities till Wednesday evening, pushing the cumulative number of deaths to 3661 and the total number of positive cases to 6, 23, 510. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Wednesday was 13,388.
Between Tuesday and Wednesday, authorities conducted 1,09,802 Covid rapid tests of which test results of 1,090 samples are awaited. On Wednesday, 1,006 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 97.26 per cent. So far, a total of 1,86,71,907 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 6,23,510 have tested positive and 6,06,461 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included two from Adilabad, 52 from Bhadradri, 108 from areas under GHMC, 28 from Jagtiyal, nine from Jangaon, 17 from Bhupalpally, one from Gadwal, five from Kamareddy, 66 from Karimnagar, 58 cases from Khammam, five from Asifabad, 19 from Mahabubnagar, 53 from Mahabubabad, 61 from Mancherial, seven from Medak, 35 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 18 from Mulugu, seven from Nagarkurnool, 71 from Nalgonda, four each from Narayanpet and Nirmal, nine from Nizamabad, 39 from Peddapalli, 20 from Siricilla, 43 from Rangareddy, seven from Sangareddy, 29 from Siddipet, 57 from Suryapet, seven from Vikarabad, 10 from Wanaparthy, 11 from Warangal Rural, 36 from Warangal Urban and 19 from Bhongir.
