Kothagudem: CPI (Maoist) party has extended its support to Telangana bandh called on October 18 demanding 42 per cent reservations to Backward Classes.
In a statement released to the media, the Maoist Telangana State Committee spokesperson Jagan accused the BJP of running a fascist government for the past 11 years in the country. The BJP rule was destroying the culture and identity of Adivasi, Dalit, BC and minority communities.
The State government and elected members should put pressure on the Centre to approve the BC Bill passed by the State Legislature. The political parties instead of blaming each other should make efforts to find a solution to the problem. The bandh should be made a success, Jagan said.
