Mancherial: The CPI (ML) New Democracy leader A Lal Kumar demanded that the State government form a special investigation team to probe into land deals and wrongdoing committed by Jaganmohan Rao, an alleged henchman of MLA Premsagar Rao. He levelled serious allegations against Rao at a press conference here on Friday.
Lal Kumar alleged that Jaganmohan Rao was neither a leader of a political party nor a public representative, but he enjoyed more power than an elected representative. He wondered how the police machinery and revenue officials were supporting Rao’s acts if he was not backed by the legislator. He insisted that the Congress declare that Jaganmohan Rao was not associated with the party. He said the government must take stern action against Rao by investigating his wrongdoing by constituting a SIT.
