Khammam: The CPI (ML) Mass Line workers staged a protest here on Thursday against US-Israeli aggression against Iran and burnt an effigy.
The party district secretariat member G Ramaiah said that India was bound to face a serious energy crisis due to the US-Israeli attacks on Iran. The public and everyone who believes in democracy should condemn the US actions for oil dominance in the Gulf countries. No country in the world has improved by fighting wars and war creates nothing but destruction. India should condemn the war and America should stop the war immediately, he demanded.
Party national assistant secretary Potu Ranga Rao, in a statement, said the military action by the US and Israel on Iran was a grave violation of international law and Iranian sovereignty. There was a connection between India’s foreign policy orientation and the ongoing conflict as the attack on Iran took place days after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Israel, he alleged.
The party leaders Jhansi, Shobha, Ch Shiromani, K Srinivas, J Lenin, Chandu, Nanne Srinu and others took part in the protest.
