Hyderabad: CPI National Secretary K Narayana on Friday welcomed the BJP Government’s decision to withdraw the three farms laws and congratulated the farmers for their success in making the Centre heed to their demands.

Calling it a huge victory to the farmers movement, he said the Centre had tried every trick to suppress the movement but all such attempts were defeated by the farmers.

He urged the Centre to announce Rs.50 lakh compensation to the farmers, who lost their lives during the movement. “This would help the BJP Government to clenase its sins,” said Narayana.

He also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for taking the decision to withdraw the three farm laws.
