Sangareddy: CPI(M) leaders have urged the district administration to ensure adequate supply of urea to farmers in Sangareddy so that they can apply it to crops on time.
Led by party executive committee member Athimela Manik, the leaders submitted a representation to District Collector P Pravinya at her chambers on Monday.
In their complaint, the CPI(M) leaders said farmers were being forced to wait in long queues at fertiliser shops every day. Manik pointed out that many farmers had been waiting for days to procure urea. He urged the Collector to intervene and resolve the issue to ease farmers’ difficulties.
