Cricket: Sunshine edge past Mahesh CC in HCA C-Division quarterfinal

Sunshine defeated Mahesh CC by three wickets in the HCA C-Division one-day league quarterfinal. In the Under-14 multi-day probables, centuries by M. Dakshdeep and Mahaprasada powered Team C to a commanding position on the opening day.

Hyderabad: Sunshine recorded a three-wicket win against Mahesh CC in the HCA C-Division one-day league championship quarterfinal here on Monday.

In the HCA under-14 multi-day probables matches, M. Dakshdeep (110) and Mahaprasada (116) batted well for Team C against Team A.


The scores: C-Division one-day league: Quarterfinal: Mahesh 192/9 in 48 overs (AS Sekhar 51, Jasti Randheer 54, M. Anjaneyulu 3/15, JLN Mehar Prasad 3/37) lost to Sunshine 194/7 in 46.4 overs (Vedant Yadav 33, P. Avinash 38, JLN Mehar Prasad 37 no, KB Vinay Kumar 3/42).

Under-14 multi-day probables matches: 1st day: Team C 377 in 86.3 overs (Shreyas Ande 50, M. Dakshdeep 110, Mahaprasada 116, D. Krish 44, K. Sushen 4/84) vs Team A 38/0 in 11 overs.

Team E 367/7 in 90 overs (P. Sairam 82, B. Harshith 98, Aarush Vora 60 no, Y. Rishank 3/61) vs Team D 69/1 in 17 overs.

Team F 292/7 in 90 overs (Suranjeet Pattnayak 49, PL Anshuman 60, N .Ritvik 55, G. Nikil Sekhar 36no) vs Team H 33/1 in 10 overs.

Team J 178 in 58 overs (Hare Krishna Pradhan 41, C.H. Anirudh 38, D. Laxman Roy 5/33) vs Team I 117/2 in 36 overs (C.H. Ritesh Reddy 55 batting).
