CRPF constable dies at home in Borabanda, police investigate

A 30-year-old CRPF constable was found dead at his residence in Indiranagar, Borabanda, on Saturday. Police said his family found him in the bathroom. His family told police that he had been under financial stress over an unpaid personal loan.

HYDERABAD: A 30-year-old CRPF constable was found hanging in the bathroom of his residence at Indiranagar in Borabanda on Saturday.

According to police, the man was identified as Gadde Pavan Kumar and went into the bathroom while his wife was at home. When he did not return for some time, family members checked and found him hanging from the shower using a lungi. With the assistance of neighbours, the door was opened and police were informed.

Police reached the spot and the body was shifted for post-mortem examination. A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway. The family members told police that he had been under financial stress after being unable to repay a personal loan taken for his personal needs.
