CRPF jawan died by suicide in Chhattisgarh’s Dantewada
A CRPF jawan, identified as Jasveer Singh (46) from Uttar Pradesh, was found hanging in his room at the 231 Battalion headquarters under Geedam police limits in Dantewada, Chhattisgarh. Senior officials visited the spot, and police have begun an investigation.
Kothagudem: A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan allegedly died suicide by in Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh on Monday.
The deceased jawan, Jasveer Singh (46) belonged to Uttar Pradesh. He was posted at the CRPF 231 Battalion headquarters under Geedam police station limits. He was found hanging from an iron pipe of his room’s ceiling.
On learning about the incident senior officials visited the spot. The body was shifted to hospital for postmortem. The reason for the extreme step of the jawan was not known.
