CSI’s AI readiness drive launched at SR University in Warangal
CSI Hyderabad Chapter launched the ‘CSI AI 100K’ initiative at SR University, Warangal, aiming to provide foundational AI training to one lakh students, faculty and young professionals across Telangana over the next 100 days. Hundreds participated in the launch event

Hanamkonda: The ‘CSI AI 100K’ programme, recognised as the world’s largest AI readiness initiative, was launched at SR University in Warangal on Wednesday.
The event was organised under the aegis of Computer Society of India (CSI), Hyderabad chapter. The CSI launched this national initiative with a mission to impart foundational Artificial Intelligence awareness and skills to over one lakh students, faculty members and young professionals across Telangana in the next 100 days in a phased manner.
It was inaugurated by CSI Hyderabad chapter Chairman Ambati Venkata Krishnaprasad along with AI 100K Convener Kalyan Sarvepalli, Vice Chairman Ramakrishna Prasad, former chairman Sudhakar, AI 100K Technology Director Yadunandan, and SR University Vice-Chancellor Prof Deepak Garg.
Prof Deepak Garg stated that SR University was proud to serve as the Academic Strategic Partner for the CSI AI 100K programme. The university would extend support enabling around 13,000 students to benefit from this national-level AI readiness initiative in the days to come.
The CSI Chairman and AI 100K Convener appreciated SR University’s strategic vision, leadership and student-centric development approach. Hundreds of students participated in the event and received direct training from industry professionals.
The CSI appreciated the efforts of coordinator Prof Neelima, student lead Himesh and the volunteer team for their dedicated support. Computer Science HoD Prof Sashikala, Dr Rupesh Mishra and Mahesh were present.
