Hyderabad: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to release the official notification for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) July 2025 in April. According to sources, the notification is likely to be released next week, by April 20.
While the exact date for the examination is yet to be confirmed, it is expected that it will be conducted in the first week of July. All the details related to the examination will be soon made available in the official website.
Usually applications for the CTET examination will begin in first week of March, but this year it is being delayed due to unforeseen reasons.
CTET 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Paper I (For classes I to V): Educational Qualification: 50% in Senior Secondary + D.El.Ed/B.El.Ed
Paper II (For classes VI to VIII): Educational Qualification: 50% in Graduation + B.Ed (for Math/Science/Social Studies teachers)
Teacher Training: Mandatory for both
The CTET 2025 exam will consist of two papers—Paper I and II. Both feature Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with four alternatives. Each question will carry one mark, and there will be no negative marking.
