Hyderabad: Cyber fraudsters duped a businessman from Sultan Bazaar of Rs.25,000. The man Narsapuram Srinivas Chary, (54) a resident of Koti reportedly received a text message from an unknown mobile phone number asking him to update the KYC details of his bank account.

“Believing the message to be true, he shared his details and found an amount of Rs.25,000 debited from his bank account,” the Sultan Bazaar police said.


A case was registered and investigation is on.
