Cyberabad and Malkajgiri police catch 387 drunk drivers in Saturday night drive

Cyberabad and Malkajgiri police caught 387 persons for drunk driving on Saturday night. Cases were registered against two-, three-, four-wheeler, and heavy vehicle drivers. Several individuals recorded BAC levels above 301 mg/100 ml, highlighting the strict enforcement drive.

Hyderabad: The Cyberabad and Malkajgiri police caught 387 persons during the drunken driving check conducted on Saturday night.

The Malkajgiri traffic police during drunk driving checking on Saturday night caught 214 persons who were found driving in inebriated condition. The police booked cases against them.

Among those caught are 187 two wheeler riders, 5 three wheeler drivers, 21 four wheeler drivers and a heavy vehicle driver.

10 persons recorded a BAC level above 301 mg/100 ml.

Meanwhile, the Cyberabad police booked 173 drunk driving cases against the persons caught driving vehicles in inebriated state. Among those caught are 138 two wheeler riders, 10 – three wheelers, 22 – four wheelers and three heavy vehicle drivers. The BAC level of 13 persons was above 301 mg/ 100 ml.
