Cyberabad civic body launches WhatsApp helpline to register civic grievances

The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) has introduced a dedicated WhatsApp number to enable residents to report pending civic issues and locations requiring the Commissioner’s direct intervention.

Hyderabad: Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) has launched a dedicated WhatsApp number, 9063421347 for citizens to register grievances about pending civic issues or locations requiring the Commissioner’s direct field inspection.

Residents may send complaints and suggestions between September 30 and October 7, along with the location, a brief description and photos or videos, if available, a press release said on Wednesday.

CMC officials will examine the submissions and schedule the Commissioner’s visits to relevant wards and areas based on the nature of the issue and whether a field-level assessment is required, it added.
