Hyderabad: The Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC), which acts as a bridge between industry and police department, organised a meeting between the Cyberabad Police and representatives from the pharmaceutical industry in Hyderabad, on Saturday.
While the IT industry has been collaborating with the police department for years through SCSC, the police department’s crucial actions during the Covid-19 pandemic brought in a necessity for other avenues of industry to collaborate with the police and serve the public. Accordingly, this meeting was organised with heads of 132 pharmaceutical companies from Pashamylaram, Gaddapotharam, Turkapally, Genome Valley, etc.
Cyberabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar, Sangareddy SP, Chandra Sekhar Reddy and other officials from the police department met the pharma representatives. While the representatives conveyed their concerns to the Sajjanar, he in turn, promised his support to the industry and also urged them to be a part of SCSC and do their part towards the society as well.
Chandra Sekhar Reddy also said they will help the pharma industry with their smooth functioning and growth.
Also in attendance at the event were Krishna Yedula, the secretary General of SCSC, Cyberabad Traffic DCP, Vijay Kumar, Balanagar DCP, Padmaja, Women and Child Safety DCP, Anasuya, Sucheth Davuluri, joint secretary of the pharma vertical of SCSC and Prathyusha Sharma, joint secretary of women’s forum of SCSC.
