Hyderabad: Cyberabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar urged citizens not to venture out unnecessarily in the view of the heavy rains and assured that the police was prepared to deal with any crisis.
To take stock of the situation in rain inundated areas, Sajjanar visited the Himayat Sagar, Palle Cheruvu, APPA Cheruvu and other lakes here.
“All precautionary measures are being taken and closely monitoring of the situation is being done. Police personnel are deployed round-the-clock in the surrounding areas of the lakes. The situation is under control,” Sajjanar said.
