Hyderabad: In view of the forecast of moderate to heavy rainfall between Tuesday and Thursday, Cyberabad police have advised IT companies and other organisations in the Cyberabad area to implement staggered early logout timings to prevent traffic congestion and ensure the safety of employees.
In an advisory issued on Tuesday, the police requested IT companies to consider allowing employees to log out in phases from 2 pm during the three days. They have also suggested that the staggered logout process be completed preferably by 4 pm, as rainfall is expected during the afternoon and late evening hours.
The advisory aims to minimise travel-related risks, ease pressure on the road network, ensure business continuity and facilitate the uninterrupted movement of emergency services during adverse weather conditions.
The police have also suggested that organisations consider the Work From Home (WFH) option for employees during the three days as an alternative to commuting to offices.
The police requested the IT companies and organisations to share their locations and proposed early logout timings through email at cybtrcc@gmail.com to help the Cyberabad Traffic Police make necessary arrangements for traffic management.
