Cyberabad Police advise staggered office logouts amid heavy rain forecast

Anticipating moderate to heavy rainfall, the Cyberabad Traffic Police have advised companies to implement staggered early logouts from 3.30 pm onwards to reduce congestion, minimise travel risks and ensure smooth movement of emergency services across the commissionerate.

Hyderabad: In view of the forecast for moderate to heavy rainfall, the Cyberabad Traffic Police have issued a traffic advisory on Wednesday, requesting companies and organisations across the commissionerate to implement staggered early logouts from 3:30 pm onwards.

In the advisory, authorities said the measure has been recommended to minimise travel related risks, ease pressure on the road network and facilitate the uninterrupted movement of emergency services during adverse weather conditions.

The police have urged organisations to share their office locations and proposed early logout timings with the traffic police to help authorities make necessary traffic management arrangements.

Officials said the staggered dispersal of employees is expected to help prevent severe traffic snarls and support smoother movement of vehicles across key IT and commercial corridors in Cyberabad as rainfall is expected to intensify later in the day.
