Cyberabad Police advises staggered early logouts on Monday amid heavy rain forecast
With moderate to heavy rainfall forecast in Hyderabad, Cyberabad Police has urged companies and educational institutions to allow staggered early logouts from 3:30 pm. The advisory aims to reduce congestion, improve safety and ensure smooth emergency response during adverse weather conditions.

Hyderabad: In view of the forecast of moderate to heavy rainfall in parts of Hyderabad on Monday evening, the Cyberabad Police has issued a traffic advisory, urging companies, educational institutions and other organisations to allow staggered early logouts for employees and students.
The advisory recommended beginning early departures from 3:30 pm to reduce traffic congestion, minimise travel-related risks and ensure the smooth movement of emergency services during adverse weather conditions.
Police said the measure was aimed at easing pressure on road infrastructure and enhancing public safety, as heavy rain is expected to impact traffic movement across key corridors in the Cyberabad region.
While IMD Hyderabad has issued a warning of severe thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds for districts till 4 pm on Monday, independent weather trackers have issued a specific thunderstorm alert for Hyderabad from Monday evening till the early hours of Tuesday.
“Hyderabad, get ready for intense downpours and, at times, moderate rain in the city from evening till the early morning hours of the next day,” posted noted independent weather tracker from Hyderabad, T Balaji, on his X handle Telanganaweatherman.
Balaji, in his Monday forecast, also indicated widespread downpours in northern, eastern and southern districts of Telangana.
“The first widespread active monsoon spell is loading for North, East, South TG during the evening to early morning hours. Adilabad, Asifabad, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagitial, Mancherial, Bhupalapally, Peddapalli, Karimnagar, Kamareddy, Sircilla, Mulugu, Bhadradri-Kothagudem, Khammam, Mahabubabad, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Gadwal, Narayanpet, Mahabubnagar, Vikarabad, Sangareddy all will get excellent rains,” he posted on X.
