Cyberabad police arrest man for abusive comments on actress Renu Desai

Cyberabad Cybercrime Police arrested Chennaiah Runjala from Guntur for posting abusive comments about actress Renu Desai on YouTube. The suspect was brought to Hyderabad. Cyber offences can be reported at local police stations or via the national helpline 1930.

Hyderabad: The Cyberabad Cybercrime Police on Wednesday arrested a man for abusive comments on actress Renu Desai on social media.

The suspect, identified as Chennaiah Runjala of Guntur, had watched a video featuring Renu Desai on YouTube and subsequently posted an inappropriate comment from his account on it.


Police tracked the digital activity and located the accused in Guntur, where he was taken into custody and brought to Hyderabad.

Cyber offences can be reported at the nearest cybercrime police station or through the national helpline 1930.
