Cyberabad police book 231 drunk driving cases in night check
Cyberabad police booked 231 people during drunken driving checks conducted on Saturday night. Most offenders were two-wheeler riders. Police said 12 persons recorded very high alcohol levels, and all offenders will be produced before the concerned court.

Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police, during drunken driving checks on Saturday night, caught 231 persons and booked cases against them.
Among those caught are 187 two-wheeler riders, 15 three-wheeler drivers and 29 four-wheeler drivers. The Kukatpally traffic police station topped the list with 35 persons caught during the checking, followed by Patancheru and Miyapur traffic police stations with 29 persons each.
Of the total 231, the police found that 12 persons recorded a BAC level of 301 mg/100 m and above. All those caught during the checking will have to appear before the court concerned for legal proceedings.
