Hyderabad: The Cyberabad Women and Children Safety Wing booked 47 individuals for harassing women during a week-long special drive conducted between July 28 and August 2.
Petty cases were registered against all offenders, who also underwent mandatory counselling sessions as part of corrective measures.
In parallel, the wing received 22 complaints from women through various channels, which were addressed promptly.
As part of its broader preventive strategy, the wing organised 54 awareness programmes at different locations and held four dedicated counselling sessions to sensitise the public on women’s safety.
The Family Counselling Centre (FCC), functioning under the same wing, provided mediation and counselling to 24 families dealing with marital disputes, with efforts focused on reconciliation and conflict resolution.
